How much does AI influencer and ad content cost to create?

Estimate an AI content project's credits, account for multiple outputs and retries, and measure cost per approved asset rather than per generation.

The useful number is the cost of an approved asset, including the attempts needed to create it. In Affogato, use the current in-app credit estimate for your selected model and settings, then budget for revisions and finishing work. There is no reliable universal price for “one AI ad.”

An ad might contain a generated image, several video clips, narration, and an assembled export. Each project's scope is different. Affogato publishes subscription information on its website, but the live settings determine the generation you are asking for. Check current Affogato pricing.

This tutorial shows how to build a planning budget without assuming a fixed credit rate or promising that the first result will be usable.

1. Define the deliverable precisely

Replace “make an ad” with a short production list. For example: one approved product still, one short motion clip, one narration track, and one finished vertical edit.

Write down the required ratio, duration, resolution, and number of versions. Those choices affect both the work and, depending on the model, its price. A longer script can also change speech-generation cost.

2. Approve composition before motion

Create the still first and check the product, lighting, and framing. Only animate the version you would be willing to publish as a photograph.

Supplied planning still, not a rendered video or a record of generation cost.

For this source frame, decide whether a gentle push-in is enough before paying for several motion attempts. Check the face, bottle lid, and contact with the bedding first. A flawed label in the source frame is a reason to repair the still, not hope the video model fixes it.

3. Read the estimate for the exact request

In Image or Video, choose the model and intended settings, then wait for the displayed estimate to update. Note it in your planning sheet before generating.

Affogato's implementation requests estimates from the server for the selected inputs. It does not rely on a universal client-side “credits per generation” constant. If you change duration, image size, count, model, or other priced parameters, check the estimate again.

If an estimate is unavailable, do not treat that as a zero-cost request. Start only when you understand the displayed pricing or have checked the relevant account information.

4. Count the actual outputs

Multiple prompts, ratios, models, or selections can multiply the work submitted. In a simple independent-output plan, two prompts across two ratios with two outputs each means eight requested outputs, not two.

Use that arithmetic to understand the workload, then use the in-app estimate for the price. Some models batch outputs or price inputs differently, so multiplying an old single-image quote is not authoritative.

5. Allow for retries using a planning scenario

Here is a hypothetical example, not Affogato's current rates:

  • Stage: Still image · Assumed credits per attempt: 12 · Planned attempts: 3 · Budget: 36
  • Stage: Video clip · Assumed credits per attempt: 80 · Planned attempts: 2 · Budget: 160
  • Stage: Narration · Assumed credits per attempt: 5 · Planned attempts: 2 · Budget: 10
  • Stage: Total of these stages · Assumed credits per attempt: — · Planned attempts: — · Budget: 206

Replace every assumed number with your current estimate. This example excludes any separate assembly, export, or additional-tool charges and your editing time. Add those if they apply to the workflow you choose.

6. Track credits per approved asset

After the run, record the credits actually used and how many outputs you accepted. If a batch used 120 credits and produced three approved stills, the observed cost was 40 credits per approved still, even if each individual attempt cost less.

Compare options using the same quality bar. A model with a lower price per attempt may be more expensive for your task if most results need replacement. One small batch is an initial observation, not a definitive ranking.

7. Set a stopping rule before retrying

Choose a limit you are comfortable with, such as two motion attempts before revisiting the source frame. When you reach it, change the approach: simplify movement, use a clearer reference, shorten the clip, or use real footage for the difficult detail.

Keep approved media and prompts organized. Reusing a finished asset can avoid unnecessary new generations, although running a new task is not automatically free just because its input resembles an earlier one.

Can you convert credits directly into dollars?

Your effective cash cost depends on your plan, purchased credits, and usage. Use the current billing information for that conversion, and keep the calculation separate from a model's per-task credit estimate.

Next step: estimate one small project in Affogato, record the actual outcome, and use that evidence to plan the next ad variation batch.
